Onsen tamago (slow poached egg)

(Serves 4)

Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs

Seasoning:

  • 4 tsp vegetarian meal
  • 4 tsp mirin
  • 4 tsp dried fish sauce
Settings
STEAM, 60℃
20 minutes

Method:

1. Place the eggs (un-cracked) in the steam oven.
2. Set the temperature to 60℃, and cooking time to 20 minutes.
3. Mix vegetarian meal, mirin and dried fish sauce together for the seasoning.
4. Remove the eggs from steam oven, carefully crack into a bowl and serve with seasoning.
