Steamed Eggs with Clams

Ingredients (3 servings)

Cooking containers: microwave heat-resistant container, glass baking pan Nutrition facts per serving:79.6 kcal, 2g carbohydrate, 4.2g fat, 8.5g protein
• 200g clams
• 150g egg
• 170g warm water (50℃)
• 5g Shaoxing wine
• 1.5g salt
• 200g of water

Method

1. Soak clams with salt water for at least 2 hours to remove mud and sand (can add some sesame oil), then rinse

2. Put Shaoxing wine, water and clams in a 1L microwave heat-resistant container with cover and place inside micro-steam oven level 0 cook with microwave 1000W for 2minutes

3. Put the clams in another microwave heat-resistant container

4. Beat eggs, add salt and warm water and strain into the container with clams, cover with microwave cling film then put into the glass baking pan

5. Fill the water tank with water, place the glass baking pan inside micro-steam oven level 3, cook with steaming 3 + microwave assisted 90W for 24 to 25 minutes

6. Enjoy

Cooking level: microwave heat-resistant container with cover on level 0, glass baking pan on level 3

Cooking time: 26-27 minutes
