Free Removal Service under Producer Responsibility Scheme Terms and Conditions

1. Applicable conditions Customers who purchase regulated electrical appliances, including washing machines and refrigerators, as specified in the Producer Eco-Responsibility Ordinance, can request removal service for the same type and quantity of used electrical appliances
(Only applicable to the same type of regulated electrical appliances Note 1).
2. Service Location Any premises in Hong Kong; can be different from the delivery address of the newly purchased appliance.
3. When to make request (a) When make purchase; or
(b) Customers can request within 3 business days after date of purchase. Late request will be deemed as no requests for the removal service.

4. Time of the removal service (a) 3 business days are required for arranging the removal service.
(b) Date: to be specified by the customers. No removal service is available on Sundays and public holidays.
(c) Time: 8am to 7pm. Specific time to be determined by the service provider and will be notified to customers in the morning of the specified date through phone call.
5. Removal service charge Free of charge
6. Remarks (a) The removal service may be different from the delivery and installation service. The old items pending removal can be removed in advance or placed temporarily at the premises for collection later as appropriate. Customers can contact us for arrangement.
(b) The old items will not be returned once collected.
(c) The free removal service will be abandoned without re-arrangement if the old items are found at the appointed date of removal service: connected to water supply or electricity supply; hindered by any obstacles like narrow door, ground protruding etc.; have serious hygiene issues (e.g. rancid foods, presence of cockroaches and ants, etc.).
(d) Customers is entitled one time chance to change the appointed removal service date or address, at least 2 business days' notice is required.
(e) In the event of a Black Rainstorm Warning / Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, the removal service will be suspended and rescheduled.
(f) The company shall not be liable for any delay, suspension or rescheduling due to traffic or adverse weather conditions or other factors.
(g) The company shall not be liable for direct or indirect loss resulted by any delay or omission of removal service due to following reasons:
a. On appoint date and time, the contact is not present
b. On appoint date and time, our driver will not wait for longer than 15 min.
c. The address provided by customers is incorrect or misleading
d. The phone number provided by customers is incorrect or invalid.
And in the event of omission for above reasons, there will be no re-arrangement.
(h) All personal data are for the purpose of arranging removal service for the old items only and the company shall comply fully with the obligations and requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486).
(i) In case of any disputes, the decision of the company shall be final.
(j) The company reserves the final rights to revise the terms and conditions herein without prior notice.

Note 1: Washing machines - with a rated washing capacity not exceeding 10 kg. Refrigerators - with a total storage volume not exceeding 500 liters.

Upgraded Removal Service Plan A Terms and Conditions

1. Applicable conditions Customers who purchase any electrical appliance, can request removal service for any used appliance (as same type of purchased appliance) at the same time with delivery of the newly purchased appliance
2. Service Location Any premises in Hong Kong excluding outlying islands, movable objects (boats, yachts or vehicles)
Must be same as delivery address
3. When to make request Customers sign the Record of Choice of Removal Service when make purchase
4. Time of the removal service Delivery and disposal performed concurrently
5. Removal service charge (a) HK $100 (per unit)
(b) Extra HK $200 (per unit) applies for any side by side refrigerator or thin twin washer dryer.
(c) Additional charge may apply if additional efforts are required to perform the removal service (climbing stairs, lifting the appliance, etc.), to be agreed by both customer and service provider on site.
(d) All charges shall be paid by cash at site.
6. Remarks (a) The old items will not be returned once collected
(b) The old items must stand-alone and be freed from other connections or obstacles
(c) If dismantling services are required, for example for built-in appliances, water heater and hood, customers may call us separately to make a service booking. Charges apply.
(d) If the old items have serious hygiene issues (e.g. rancid foods, presence of cockroaches and ants, etc.), our staff will have the right not to remove such items
(e) Customers are entitled to change the appointed date of removal service, maximum two times, for which no less than 1 working days' notice is required
(f) In the event of a Black Rainstorm Warning / Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, the removal service will be suspended and rescheduled
(g) The company shall not be liable for any delay, suspension or rescheduling due to traffic or adverse weather conditions or other factors

Upgraded Removal Service Plan B Terms and Conditions

1. Applicable conditions Customers who purchase any electrical appliances, can make on site request for removal service for any used appliance (as same type of purchased appliance) when receiving the newly purchased appliance.
2. Service Location Must be same as delivery address of the newly purchased appliance.
3. When to make request Customers make request on site when receiving of newly purchased appliance.
4. Time of the removal service Delivery and disposal performed concurrently
5. Removal service charge (a) HK $200 (per unit)
(b) Extra HK $200 (per unit) applies for any side by side refrigerator or thin twin washer dryer.
(c) Additional charge may apply if additional efforts are required to perform the removal service (climbing stairs, lifting the appliance, etc.), to be agreed by both customer and service provider on site.
(d) All charges shall be paid by cash at site.

Upgraded Removal Service Plan C Terms and Conditions

1. Applicable conditions Customers who purchase any electrical appliance under brands Bosch or Siemens, can request removal service for any used appliance (as same type of purchased appliance).
2. Service Location Any premises in Hong Kong excluding outlying islands, movable objects (boats, yachts or vehicles).
3. When to make request Customers can make request, from the date of purchase until one month after receive the newly purchased appliance, by calling us at 2994 0909.
4. Time of the removal service (a) Normally 1 working day is required for service arrangement
(b) Date: Mon to Sat, excluding public holidays (For Ma Wan, Discovery Bay and Tung Chung: Service only available on Mon / Wed / Fri )
(c) Time: 9am to 7:30pm, to be decided by the service provider and will be notified to customer through phone call in the evening before the appointed date.
5. Removal service charge (a) HK $300 (per unit)
(b) Extra HK $200 (per unit) applies for any side by side refrigerator or thin twin washer dryer.
(c) Additional charge may apply if additional efforts are required to perform the removal service (climbing stairs, lifting the appliance, etc.), to be agreed by both customer and service provider on site.
